Project Highlight

 The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club–  Relight the outdoor tennis court and brings clarity, comfort and profession to the game

Back in 2017, the Tachibana team installed a set of sports floodlights for the indoor badminton court at Clear Water Bay. The resulting lighting uniformity prepared the space for all levels of competition. In December of that same year, the venue hosted an exhibition match, representing the success of  our very first collaboration. Today, the system continues to operate flawlessly and deliver top-tier performance.

Building on this success, the club initiated an upgrade of its outdoor facilities in the summer of 2026. Set against the coastline, these courts face continuous exposure to salt air and high humidity. Over time, moisture and fog built up on the previous LED fixtures, degrading light output and causing severe glare that made evening ball-tracking difficult for players.

To address these challenges, court 5 was selected to lead the modernization project using our specialized sports floodlight series. Engineered with marine-grade, anti-corrosion materials, the new fixtures effortlessly withstand harsh coastal environments. Furthermore, their advanced optical system projects light precisely forward to eliminate glare, providing balanced, uniform coverage across the court at a horizontal angle while preventing upward light spill and light pollution.
